Compostable refuse sacks are manufactured from plant based polymers which will fully compost in the correct conditions. For a compostable bin liner to compost it needs moisture and light, and will under the correct conditions compost in around six weeks.

The compostable bin liners and refuse sacks available from Polaris are all certified to EN13432. These compostable bin liners are also certified for disposal where anaerobic digestion is utilised.
